I've had the 345 tripod kit for a few years. I've used it with many cameras and other devices like flashes or an audio recorder (Zoom H2).
It's really nice and offers many possibilities. Since it's made by Manfrotto, it is compatible with most of their products. Sometimes, I remove the tripod legs and replace them with a Super Clamp to attach everything to a structure.
The only minor problem I had with it is that the protective pads under the legs didn't stay on very long. The glue wasn't strong enough. It might have been fixed by Manfrotto since I got mine a few years ago.
