Opening: Sunday 12th of April 2009 at 7:00 PM (CET)
You can shoot any subject you like, just get that backgroud out of focus by
using the aperture priority mode "A" or the manual mode "M" if you like.
Then choose to shoot at the widest aperture possible.
Ex: F2 at 24mm (wideangle) or F2.8 at 60mm (tele)
Tip: marco F2 shot
Note: Submission instructions will be published on sunday.

What's F3 Bokeh ????
I don't understand the TOPIC...
Thanks! Facundo
Hey Facundo.
A bokeh is when the background is blury and preferably something in the foreground is in focus. Read more at wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokeh
I guess "F2" refer to the maximum aperture of the LX3.
How do i make the camera have the F2.0 or F2.8 settings? I'm a real noob here. Thanks!
Turn the dial on top of the camera to A (for Aperture-priority), then you change aperture by pressing the "knob" on the back up [for smaller aperture] or down [for larger].
The lower the number - the larger is the aperture. Because the aperture is relative to the focal length you write it as f/2.0 (focal length divided by aperture).
Alternatively you could use M (Manual mode) to set both aperture and shutter speed yourself, in Aperture-priority shutter speed is set automatically by the camera.
Hope that helps :-)
