No LX3 stock in the US! A LX3-photography reader wanted to know what is going on and shared the following answer he got from the Panasonic customer support.

I got the last one in Winnipeg! I'm so happy I picked it up.
Still back ordered everywhere in US; and it's almost May! Crazy. Im almost about to cave in a by a G10 (against my will) because I've been waiting so long for a good P&S for traveling.
Yep, I'm about to pop for a G10 myself. Something must be terribly wrong at Panasonic for them to let slip so many LX3 sales like this...
Seems like a great camera, but this is getting ridiculous!
This says ETA is May 18th.

They changed it already. You can find some at Amazon, from resellers, but at a prohibitive price.
Ah Hah! Here's why they delayed the LX3, Panasonic just brought out the new and improved version, the ZS3!

The ZS3 is different from the LX3, no manual mode, no RAW format etc.
I just found two black LX3s at Amazon for $499 and free shipping - now just one left since I bought myself one!
Good luck!
